About Neighbor of the Year

Supportive Housing Communities (SHC) has been helping to stably house individuals and families in the Charlotte community for 30 years. Founded in 1993, SHC provides desperately needed permanent housing and supportive services to men, women, and families who have found themselves either to be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

In celebration of our 30th anniversary, we are launching Neighbor of the Year. This event recognizes neighbors who are making great strides and impact in our local communities.
